Forgotten Celtic left-back, Andrew Guttman is in talks to re-sign for American side FC Cincinnati.
The 24-year old signed for the club under former manager Brendan Rodgers in. mysterious fashion, alongside fellow American full-back Manny Perez. Every since both have rarely been seen with their parent club apart from when Gutman had a short spell with the side in pre-season last season.
In a statement released on the FC Cincinnati website, it stated that Gutman was in talks to re-sign for the club which he has spent time on loan at and was signed from by the Scottish Champions.
Currently, Gutman’s deal runs until 2022 after signing a three-year deal when he joined the club, so it is unclear whether this deal will be yet another loan of the Hoops are willing to cut ties for a small fee.
When the left-back signed seemed like a strange transfer move at the time, with the stage of development he was at and this theory has been proven right over his time at the club, which looks like it could be coming to an end.
