The old band got back together on Monday night to entertain the Celtic fans one last time in Glasgow.

Martin O’Neill, Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Stan Petrov, Johan Mjallby, Jackie McNamara, Lubo Moravcik and Alan Thompson were all together for a special night at the hydro.

Celtic fans packed out the popular Glasgow venue to hear stories from back in the day about when these guys used to share a dressing room.

This team was special, most of the players here helped Celtic get to the UEFA Cup final back in 2003 under the watch of legendary manager Martin O’Neill.

Chris Sutton referred to them as a band a brothers and hailed a superb night on stage with his former teammates.

This team really knew how to play and gave the Hoops support memories to last a life time.

The Green and Whitewash, European adventures and winning titles at a time when their rival’s were cheating the system.

It’s great to see them together.

  1. These guys will always have a place in our hearts and let’s face it Porto cheated their way to the trophy. They were out to get a man sent off from the outset which is a shame because they were a good side. Big Bobo getting sent off cost us the game, I genuinely think we’d have won had he stayed on the park.
