Celtic Park has always been praised by footballers around the world. The place where Ange Postecoglou’s men play their football is iconic for anyone who pays a visit there.

And the next star who has played under the European lights at Parkhead and praised the immense feeling within the ground is Bayern Munich man Kingsley Coman.

The Frenchman, who is formerly of PSG, played at Celtic Park in 2017 with Bayern and indeed scored the opener in a 2-1 victory for the German side. Now Hoops captain also netted that night which Coman recently recalled (The Times via Football Scotland):

“I really like Celtic Park.

“We played against Celtic in the Champions League, in Scotland. It was incredible, with the play of lights at the start, it was very noisy.”

Coman is a world superstar who has won a World Cup, Champions League and numerous titles with PSG and Bayern Munich.

He has played in a number of venues across the world and the fact he’s singled out Celtic Park for praise is testament to the unique atmosphere created within the ground.

This acclaim, however, will come as no surprise to Hoops fans across the globe and those who trek to Parkhead week in, week out and create that world renowned atmosphere.
