According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, Aaron Hickey has turned down a move to Bayern’s academy to re-sign for Celtic.
The news broke last week that Bayern had offered Hickey the opportunity to come in and joking a strong contingent of young stars in their academy. It looked like a foregone conclusion but it appears Celtic have managed to persuade him to stay in Scotland.
#CelticFC are set to win the race for #Hearts full-back Aaron Hickey. The 18yr old had interest from English Premier League clubs after playing regularly last season

Hickey has spent two spells at Celtic in the youth side but moved to Hearts to get first team football. Neil Lennon tried to sign the player last season but was rebuffed.
If the club do land Hickey, it looks like it might be a very busy week for the club. Turnbull set to join, Shane Duffy deal still being discussed and now Hickey. Exciting times!
Celtic have already made three signs this window with Moi Elyounoussi, Vasilis Barkas and Albian Ajeti all signing on for ten in a row.
