BEN DOAK has been in terrific form for his club and country’s youth teams since leaving Celtic.

The player departed Celtic, signing for Liverpool shortly after he was handed his senior debut by Ange Postecoglou. It was clear that the kid had the potantial to be a star of the future, and it was going to be tough to hold on to him.

When a club like Liverpool comes caling, it’s almost certain that the player will leave. You can hardly blame them, it’s a once in a lifetime oportunity.

The winger has stated he’s grateful for his Celtic experience, admitting the club has helped him become the top youth player that he is. As quoted by Football Scotland, he said;

“But once I went down there to Liverpool and saw the standards and the facilities, it’s top, top level. You don’t get any better than where I am at right now.

“I’m in the best place.

Celtic are the club that made me the person who I am and the player I am. I owe everything to Celtic.

“I still speak to a lot of the boys. I keep up with the results.”

The 16-year-old has a big future ahead of him, he’s at a top club with top facilities. It won’t be long before Jurgen Klopp is naming him in his matchday squads, especially if he keeps scoring and assisting for the youth team. You never know, he could be Salah’s replacement.
