The Croatian been great on the ball, spraying passes here, there and everywhere. Creating a couple of chances for his country, he’s been impressive on the attack while staying solid defensively.

One BBC pundit said live on air that the Celtic star was the best player on the pitch.

Twitter has been busy applauding the Celtic full-back, with Fabrizio Romano claiming he’s one to watch.

Even fast-food chain KFC has Tweeted about the player’s performance!

If he plays like this for the second half, he’ll be adding a good few million pounds onto Celtic’s valuation, with a big payday set for January.

With Alistair Johnston’s arrival, it’s likely that the Croatian player will leave Celtic this January, as the rumours are suggesting.

Playing well in the World Cup isn’t easy, but being the best player on the pitch while playing Brazil in the quarter-final is an incredible achievement. He’ll be hoping he can be the difference-maker in the second half.
