With all the injuries going on at Celtic Park right now, one man seems to have slipped through the net with not many mentioning his name.

Celtic’s summer signing Youssouf Mulumbu has not been seen since putting in a decent performance against Salzburg before the bhoys eventually fell to a 3-1 defeat.

Not much has been asked about the player’s whereabouts but since Scott Brown has been out injured and now Kouassi Eboue is a doubt it highlighted the former Kilmarnock star’s absence.

Rodgers did not confirm the injury but the Irishman did confirm the player would be back in training on Thursday after the Dundee game this evening and made mention of Jozo Simunovic.

“Youssouf will train with the squad on Thursday.” Rodgers explained.

“Jozo will probably be back after the international break as he’s sprained an ankle.” the Celtic boss added.

Mulumbu was brought in on a free transfer and has only made two starts for the bhoys one coming against his old side Kilmarnock and the other Salzburg away in the Europa League.

Jozo can’t seem to keep fit at the moment, luckily for Celtic Benkovic, Boyata and Ajer are fit and available for selection.
