The skipper admitted it would be a quiet one for him, with the manager expecting to see all the players in training on Monday morning, looking fresh and ready to go ahead of the final Glasgow Derby of the season.

When discussing his plans, Callum McGregor said he might treat himself with a cup of tea, adding he might go ‘crazy’ and add some sugar to it.

He said: [Football Scotland]

“I’ll be quiet tonight, we’re in tomorrow.

“Not sure what I’ll do, maybe a cup of tea. Might go crazy and put some sugar in it.

“It’ll just be quiet because we’re back in tomorrow.

“We’re still working, we can enjoy it at the end of the season.”

Callum is a great leader; the way he kept the team ticking on Sunday was superb, despite the mixture of nerves and excitement which the team were experiencing. He’s been superb since he took the armband, with his performance levels still reaching the same heights consistently.

In a few years time we’ll be looking back on a legendary career, with much of it spent with Celtic.
