Much news has came out over the past few days on Celtic centre half Cameron Carter-Vickers and his availability for between now and the end of the 2022/23 season.
As per wide scale reports, the defender has been playing through the pain barrier and may require surgery.
Now, though, American journalist Larry Henry Jr. has provided another update, saying the American will be fit to face Motherwell this weekend:
Cameron Carter-Vickers is expected back for Celtic this weekend, per a source close to the player. Carter-Vickers has been grinding it out for Celtic during second half of season and hoping to get through Scottish Cup semifinal next weekend. #USMNT

We already knew a Carter-Vickers return against Motherwell was on the cards although this provides further confirmation that such an event will transpire.
The American’s presence will be an undoubted boost for the Hoops this Saturday and in the Glasgow derby next Sunday.
Carter-Vickers provides assurance and stability at the back, two qualities that will be useful against a Motherwell side who have been somewhat rekindled under Stuart Kettlewell.
Nevertheless, when the 25 year old is absent again, Ange Postecoglou will have more than ample options at his disposal in order to replace him.
