The football has taken a back seat to the ongoing saga between the club and the Green Brigade who will not be in attendance on Wednesday evening at Celtic Park.

However, some will see the game tonight as some relief from everything else that’s going on around the club.

It’s a cold and wet November night in Glasgow. Even if the GB were at the game, these types of evenings lend themselves to being more low-key affairs than a Saturday 3 pm kick-off.

Brendan Rodgers and his men dropped points away to Hibernian on Saturday and are looking to get back to winning ways. The bhoys are undefeated in the league and will be hoping to extend that tonight against St Mirren.

We have no Reo Hatate to call on and we now know he will be out until the new year, who will find their feet in the midfield alongside O’Riley and McGregor?

The massive news coming out of the Starting XI tonight is the absence of Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Here is the starting XI in full:

  1. Cameron Carter-Vickers is a young player with a lot of potential and Celtic fans are worried about what could happen if he is not found soon. It’s surprising to see the Celtic starting XI without him, but hopefully he is okay
