Cameron Carter-Vickers marked his return to the international stage in a surprising and promising manner as he played the last 25 minutes for the United States during a friendly match against Germany.

Despite the 3-1 defeat, Carter-Vickers’ inclusion in the national team after a lengthy injury layoff was a positive development for both club and country.

The friendly match was an exciting clash that saw the Americans take an early lead through Milan star Christian Pulisic. However, Germany responded ten minutes later, levelling the score before heading into halftime. Two second-half goals from the Germans secured them a 3-1 victory.

Cameron Carter-Vickers entered the field in the 65th minute as a substitute, and his presence had an immediate impact on the game. Notably, the USA did not concede any goals during his time on the pitch.
