CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS missed Sunday’s match against St Mirren after pulling up in training during the week, Ange Postecoglou confirmed pre-match.

The Celtic manager has now confirmed that the American international will miss his country’s friendlies against Japan and Saudi Arabia.

It’s slightly concerning, considering his presence was missed against St Mirren with Celtic set to play RB Leipzig just days after they host Motherwell.

The thought of CCV missing that game is quite daunting. Let’s hope that the Celtic manager’s hope comes true!

Starfelt should be returning after the international break, which will give the Hoops a further boost having their two central defenders back.
