Celtic have today announced a collaboration with Kyogo Furuhashi’s former side Vissel Kobe.

The Hoops revealed a new official half and half scarf celebrating the Celtic striker has gone on sale to both Celtic and Vissel supporters.

It’s another attempt by the Scottish Champions to further their merchandise footprint in Japan after launching a Japanese online store.

The success of the Japanese bhoys at Celtic last season has opened the door to more marketing opportunities.

While many fans scoff at half and half scarves, it’s a little bit different in the way Vissel aren’t direct opponents or rivals in a competition Celtic are competing.

It’s celebrating Kyogo and the club who put the striker on the map and in front of Ange during the Australian’s time in the J-League.

I won’t be rushing out to buy it, but I could see this selling well.
