It has been confirmed overnight Celtic WILL head out to Dubai after the Glasgow Derby on Saturday with the country being on a list of exempt countries.

Celtic had the SPFL move the Hibernian game for them so they can jet off to the sun and have a short training break.

It has been a tradition since Brendan Rodgers was the manager but due to the pandemic and the cancellation of the winter break, it looked like there would be no trip this season.

The club have managed to find some space and have been given the all-clear to make the trip as reported by SunSport.

There will be no need for a ten day isolation period when they return at the moment and you have to imagine the club will be monitoring things just in case anything changes.

Celtic will hopefully be flying out to Dubai with an Ibrox win in the bag but either way, they will be heading out to the camp.
