The last Glasgow Derby in October was not a good outing for Celtic.

They failed to register a shot on target and it sent them on a downward spiral of which they’ve only recently recovered.

Everyone recalls the going over Celtic got that day but nobody seems to mention Celtic’s depleted squad and problems before the game.

This time around there will be major changes.

Leigh Griffiths was unfit; Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie, Elhamed and Nir Bitton were all out for Covid reasons. It was Laxalt’s first game and we were playing 3-5-2 instead of the 4-4-2 diamond

Patryk Klimala started upfront with Moi Elyounoussi playing off him.

This time around, Celtic have a bit of a solid core again. They have two potent strikers and an in-form David Turnbull. Scott Brown could start in Govan but Ismaila Soro has given the Celtic manager a major decision to make.

It’s not long until the team will be out. It’s a massive game for the bhoys who must be at their best to get a result away from home.

Rangers clean sheet record has been impressive, it will be up to Eddy and Griff to give them a bloody nose.
