SOUTH AMERICAN football journalist Simon Edwards has given Celtic fans the lowdown on what they could expect from potential new signing Sergio Quintero.
The defensive midfielder, nicknamed ‘The Machine’ is looking to make his first strides in European football after playing two seasons in Ecuador and Celtic could be the place for the player to develop.
If Simon Edwards take on the player is anything to go by then Celtic fans should get excited.
Cifuentes alongside catches the eye with his range of passing & driving forward runs but it is Sergio Quintero who sits behind putting out all the fires

Neil Lennon is casting his net far and wide to bring in some quality players this transfer window.
So far the club has got three deals over the line but more are expected in the next week or two with some perhaps going down to the wire.
If Celtic could get Quintero in and develop him, it could prove a shrewd piece of business for the club.
Possible successor to Mr Brown if he wants to hang around that long. The way he talks though is celtic will be a stage (stepping stone) to EPL. Get him signed quickly before Bournmouth see him!
Never in the history of football transfers has a guy claiming to be chased by a team earned that move, file under rubbish
