ADIDAS is set to raise the price of club merchandise due to the rising cost of production and cutting ties with Russia, which could cost the company up to £400 million. [Daily Record]

Throughout society, prices are increasing; it was only a matter of time before Adidas followed suit.

It’s said that fans can expect there to be 5-10% more for their Celtic gear. There is no dispute that the manufacturers’ gear for Celtic has been top class, however, fans may resent paying extra. From kits to training kits and even a remake of 2006 World Cup shirts.

For a short-sleeved Celtic top, it was listed for £65 at the start of the season, but they are currently on sale and have a price reduction. With the new changes, fans could find themselves being asked to pay over £70 to wear their teams’ colours.

Celtic will not be the only club hit by the rise. In fact, down south fans may be required to pay over £100 for a shirt.

Celtic’s deal with the manufacturer runs out in the summer of 2025.
