NEIL LENNON has made his and the club’s feelings clear on the current Kieran Tierney situation as he updated the current state of play when it comes to the Celtic star.

The Irishman was in no mood to give Arsenal any inch when it came to the possibility of Kieran leaving and the Celtic boss has taken a much harder stance on the issue since last time he spoke about a potential deal.

“It’s as you were really. I’ve had no information other than two bids came in from Arsenal and we rejected them. There’s been no further inroads really into that”. Lennon told Celtic TV.

Neil followed that up with confirming the club aren’t looking to sell the player and making it very clear they will not be bullied by Arsenal

“We’re in a good position. We have no intentions of selling, he’s under a long term-contract”.

Arsenal looks like they may need to walk away at this point with Celtic not budging. The great thing is Kieran won’t be pushing for a move away so there will be no discontent with the player either.

The defender is still recovering from double hernia surgery and is on the comeback trail. Hopefully the left back will be back in the squad before too long.
