The transfer, valued at approximately £870,000, marks the start of Celtic’s January transfer window clear-out.

Yosuke Ideguchi, 27, has been the subject of keen interest from both Vissel Kobe and Avispa Fukuoka, his current loan team.

Ideguchi has made significant contributions to Avispa Fukuoka, particularly in their recent victory in the Japanese League Cup.

Reports from Japan, via Record Sport, indicate that Vissel Kobe has emerged victorious in the tussle for the midfielder, with an official transfer slated for January 15, coinciding with the reopening of the J-League transfer window.

Of course, Vissel Kobe are the former club of Celtic star Kyogo and are now the champions of Japan.

He was unlucky at Celtic, with injuries preventing him from getting a fair chance with the club.  It’s good to see that his career has kick started again, and going back to the J-League to join one of the elite teams in the country.
