Usually, if we feel a big decision has gone against Celtic we would lambast and criticise the officials.

We won’t be doing it on this occasion but we want to point out Celtic looked to have been denied a second goal during the first half of Sunday’s game against Ross County.

The camera angles at Ross County don’t do any favours and in real time I thought it looked offside. However, put it up to the scrutiny offsides come under when VAR is around and the goal should have stood.

Look at the line and where Kyogo is, his whole body looks to still be behind the last defender.

The pass from Matt O’Riley was sensational and the movement from Kyogo was out of this world. It was timed that well the linesman couldn’t keep up with it and flagged for the offside.

Speaking on BBC Sportscene on Sunday evening, Michael Stewart confessed the goal should’ve stood.

“He’s onside there – the heel of Iacovitti is playing him on so perhaps that should’ve stood.” Stewart Conceded.

“But that’s the sort of movement Kyogo is always looking to enact, getting in behind the defence.

As it happens, the decision didn’t cost Celtic but it did make the game much more nervy for fans. The bhoys did seem in control of things but us supporters have seen what happens when a game is sitting at 1-0 for so long.

By the end of the year, goals like that will come under the microscope with VAR and be given.
