The winger, who was absent from Celtic’s recent match against Livingston, will also be unavailable for the upcoming game against St Johnstone due to an injury setback.

Palma, despite his injury, received a call-up from the Honduras national team. However, following medical assessments by the national team’s medical staff, the decision was made to send him back to Celtic. The medical evaluation revealed that Palma would need around four weeks to recover, sidelining him for significant upcoming fixtures, including Celtic’s visits to Livingston and Rangers post-international break. On a positive note, Celtic fans have some reasons for optimism, as both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Reo Hatate are expected to be fit and available for these critical matches. Their return to fitness will bolster Celtic’s squad, especially in defence and midfield, areas where both players have been influential this season.

However, the Celtic fans are still awaiting updates regarding the fitness of team captain Callum McGregor.
