CELTIC have today released information for season ticket holders on how much a ticket to watch Celtic vs Copenhagen will cost at Parkhead.

Surprisingly the club are charging more than they did for previous last 32 games against Zenit and Valencia.

Over the past couple of seasons it cost £35 for standard adult season ticket holder to watch their team. At the time there was an uproar about how much the club was charging for those games, specifically the Zenit tie as reported by the Scotsman at the time.

A ticket for a standard season ticket holder this year against Copenhagen will set you back £37 and £20 for kids. On the face of it, it’s only a £2 hike BUT when the price is already quite high, it’s a bit of a slap in the face.

Considering the amount of money the fans pour into the club and the calibre of opponent, £30-£32 would have sufficed. Greed getting the better of some at Celtic Park.

As usual we’ll get the the ‘don’t pay it then’ Brigade but for faithful Celtic fans, that’s rarely an option and the club know this.

  1. That was never mentioned at the agm, and the fans will need to ask ,why the increase when in profit and there was good money earned in qualifying for Europe per game ,and also from what ever uefa pays out of the competition pot .
