CELTIC are said to be favourites to land right back Fabricio Bustos from Independiente.

The 25-year-old right back has been a one club man until now but reports claim the player is open to a move and his club would sell him for the right price.

The Hoops are casting their net far and wide in their search for a first team right back. The club have a definite advantage as they can offer any potential right back coming in first team football.

RecordSport have wrote this about a potential detail for the Argentinian:

‘Brazilian giants Santos are one, but Celtic are said to be in pole position to complete a deal for the 25-year-old.’

Celtic could land the defender for around £3.4million according to the same report.

It’s a position that really does need filled but it also has to be someone who can come and play in Ange’s system. Much has been made of the Celtic manager’s use of full backs and how he likes them to come into the middle of the park to overload.

For all the abuse Ralston has taken from some Celtic fans, the bhoys is doing himself proud in a Celtic jersey at the moment but he’s still limited for what Celtic need.

  1. Ralston is performing better than Taylor who also needs to be replaced. Starfelt has had a poor start and hopefully he will get up to speed because if this is what he is he too is not good enough and will need to be replaced. Why Bitton is still at Celtic is a mystery why he is in the first team is a massive conundrum. Sticking with Bitton is the kind of decision that gets the manager the sack (deservedly). Surely Bitton is not Ange’s blindspot?
