CELTIC won the game against Ross County comfortably in the end but it took Neil Lennon fielding n injured Odsonne Edouard for the final 30 minutes to make sure of the points.

Celtic had a patched up back four when Ross County came calling but more patched up than it needed to be. When you’re already missing your top two right backs and favoured centre-back, perhaps you should play a natural left back at left back….

Ross County had three first half opportunities where they should have took the lead with Celtic looking out of sorts at the back.

We have to call out these mistakes while we’re winning and learn from them. If we call them out after they’ve cost us then it’s too late.

Saying that, a 3-0 win at home considering Celtic’s current injury list is still 100% impressive.

  • Jeremie Frimpong
  • Kristoffer Ajer
  • Hatel Elhamed
  • Boli Bolingoli
  • Nir Bitton
  • Ryan Christie (Injured, Suspended)
  • Moi Elyounoussi

Bitton is a squad player but the rest of them would all be considered for the Starting XI if fit and ready to go. Celtic have done well in their absence so far. Having so many top stars out of the side is far from ideal.

When these lads do make their way back from injury, Neil Lennon’s selection headaches will get worse but he has to play the very best team available to him and not shoe horn players into the side.
