Celtic are being very active trying to land a striker this January and are leaving no stone unturned as they look to strengthen their squad.

Overnight, Celtic were linked with a move for Polish frontman Patryk Klimala.

The forward currently plays for Jagellonia Bialystok in Poland’s Ekstraklasa but Celtic are said to be very keen on bringing the 21-year-old to the club.

This rumour seems to have a bit more substance to it with respected in the know journalist Stephen McGowan reporting on it for MailSport. McGowan regularly gets the Celtkc scoops before anyone else.

The journalist has claimed Celtic have made a £4m bid for the 21-year-old and comments he’s high on the list of Celtic targets.

Klimala has made seventeen appearances for his club this season – scoring seven goals.

He certainly fits the profile of a typical Celtic signing. Developing young talent and selling them on for a large fee in a few years time.
