Celtic have signed nine exciting academy talents to their first professional contracts, heralding a bright future as the 2024/25 season approaches.
The new signings include Jack Thomson, Owen Hartington, Josh Mulgrew, Jacob Donnelly, Aodhan Taylor, Samuel Sedwell, Corey Shaw, Ezekiel Molife, and Cameron Patterson.
Notably, Josh Mulgrew is the son of former Celtic and Scotland star, Charlie, who also came through the Celtic Academy.

With a track record of developing great homegrown talent, Celtic will hope to continue this with these young talents.
However, in recent years, many have struggled to make the step up from the academy to the first team. But Celtic are trying to bridge the gap, appointing Darren O’Dea as the Player Pathway Manager. He’ll oversee the transition from academy football to first-team football.
Celtic are revamping their youth set-up with Johnny Hayes taking on the role of assistant manager for Celtic’s B team, working under Stephen McManus, who continues as the team’s head coach and Adam Asghar is to be appointed as the new manager for the Under-18 team.
