Cording to reports abroad, Celtic have had an opening bid for Alexandro Bernabei.

Argentinian journalist César Luis Merlo has revealed the bhoys made a bid for the exciting left-back but it’s been thrown out by the player’s current club Lanùs.

The reporter goes on to state the club is willing to sell the 21-year-old if Celtic meet their valuation of the player — no mention of what the valuation could be.

Celtic can look more readily at the South American market. Due to work permits becoming easier to get post-brexit for clubs in the Uk, it’s a market you’ll likely see many take advantage of.

The Hoops want a left back in who can challenge Greg Taylor for his spot in the side.

Taylor became the only viable first team left back at the club last season but played out his role very well.

Celtic are looking to push on and take this squad to the next level under Ange Postecoglou. they have already secured the permanent signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers. New faces will help this team kick on and hopefully win more trophies.
