Reports tonight have suggested that both Celtic and Rangers have offered Charlton Athletic’s Alfie Doughty pre-contract deals.

According to the Glasgow Times, Doughty who has been a target of Neil Lennon’s since the summer has been offered terms by both Glasgow sides and is also subject to interest from English Championship team Stoke City who are looking to land him this month.

In the last summer window, Celtic supposedly had two offers rejected for the 21-year so it is clear to see that Neil Lennon is a fan of the left-sided player.

Recently, he has been out with a hamstring injury but that hasn’t stopped the interest or manager Lee Bowyer trying to sign him up on improved terms at the League 1 side.

With several clubs putting in offers, Doughty has a choice to make. He was reportedly keen on the move to the green side of Glasgow just a matter of months ago so fingers crossed that is still the case.
