Celtic are tonight in talks with Leicester over a move for Filip Benkovic just 24 hours after Brendan Rodgers welcomed a move from his former club.
Filip went out on loan to Cardiff in the summer but only made one appearance for the Welsh club.
Sky sports Man, Anthony Joseph has confirmed Celtic have now opened talks about a loan move to bring Filip Benkovic back to the club for the rest of the season.
Celtic are in talks with Leicester City to sign centre-back Filip Benkovic.
He's not part of Leicester's short-term plans. They'll listen to loan offers and would even sell for the right price.

Before the failed Cardiff City loan move, the defender spent a successful spell at Bristol City last term.
Neil Lennon liked the big man but didn’t use him because Jozo Simunovic was fit and a permanent member of the playing staff back when the Irishman first took over.
If Filip does come back in, he’ll likely see action very quickly and perhaps give a bit of stability to the Celtic defence. We’ve been desperately needing a solid centre back.
