ANGE POSTECOGLOU has reiterated Celtic’s transfer situation remains fluid as we head towards the middle of August. The window closes on September 1st, and by that time, the Celtic squad could have new faces and lose a few.

The Bhoys did their transfer business incredibly early this season. It’s been a refreshing change of pace, but the certainty of the Champions League has allowed the club to make deals knowing money is guaranteed.

Despite shelling out a decent amount of money this summer already, Ange is leaving the door open for incomings and exits.

Postecgolou Told CelticTV: “I think I’ve said that while the window’s open we are still active.

“So we have just have got to stay alert and active but between now and the end of the window I’ve already said if the right opportunity comes along that I feel we need then we will take it. Like I said. Nothing really definite at the moment.”

This attitude should 100% be the way a club the size of Celtic should be taking. If a deal comes up that’s just too good to turn down, we have to be flexible and ready to move.

The Celtic manager isn’t saying there will be players coming in, but the club is still open for business.

Celtic are participating in four competitions; one of which is the most Elite European competition any club can participate in. We need strength in depth and given our status in the Champions league, there could be some decent deals to be done.
