CELTIC PARK nearly witnessed an outstanding goal which started with Craig Gordon showboating and taking the mick out of a Hearts player.
The bhoys were in devastating form but had Callum McGregor’s run here find the inside of the post, this would have been a goal you would be seeing for years.
McGregor who seems to be relishing his role in the middle of the park in Broony’s absence took the ball from deep in his own half to inside the Hearts box with the Jambos retreating and unwilling to close him down he nearly scored a sensational goal.
Brendan Rodgers has heaped praise on his midfielder for adapting to his new role so well.
McGregor offers dig but he also offers so much more in the way of passing, his range is excellent and he can still get on the scoresheet if he gets the chance.
Callum was very unlucky with this effort!
Callum McGregor has stepped up massively.
