On Monday, 13th February, Celtic will find out who their opponents in the Scottish Cup quarter–finals will be. After a resounding 5–1 victory over St Mirren on Saturday evening, the Bhoys have earned their place in the draw.
The weekend also saw some surprising results, as Motherwell and Livingston were both eliminated by lower–league teams. The Rangers managed to avoid a scare at home against Partick Thistle, winning 3–2. Ange Postecoglou’s squad will join Hearts, Kilmarnock, Rangers, Ayr United, Inverness CT, Raith Rovers and the winner of the Darvel and Falkirk game in the draw.

That match will take place before the draw, which is set to take place at 5:30 pm on Monday from Hampden Park. This will be broadcast live on the Scottish Cup‘s social media channels. The Celtic match will be played on the weekend of March 11th and will be televised on either Viaplay Sports or the BBC. Viaplay will have the first option on which games to show.
With Celtic also vying for the Scottish League Cup and Scottish Premiership title, it looks like it could be another season to remember. The bhoys are likely to be favourites in the quarter–finals and will be hoping to make it to the semi–finals at Hampden.
The Scottish Cup is the one trophy Ange hasn’t got his hands on yet. Callum McGregor spoke about the hurt the bhoys felt going out at the semi-final stage last season and they want to make sure their in the mix come the final.
