Aged 19, he has already played once in the Champions League for Manchester City and a couple of times in the Premier League.

The attacking midfielder has been a standout in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring eighteen goals and assisting seven times in the twenty matches he’s played.

He’s also performed well in the UEFA youth league, scoring four goals and assisting one in three matches.

He’s highly rated at Manchester City, so Celtic can almost definitely rule out bringing the player to the club permanently, but they could explore a loan deal for the player.

Celtic have built a relationship with Man City over the past few years, with several players joining Celtic from the Citizens.

Furthermore, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou’s former club were in the City group, and Mark Lawwell, who is heading the recruitment at Parkhead, also joined Celtic from the group.

It’ll certainly be an exciting one, with Celtic able to offer valuable experience to the youngster? He does seem like an Ange Postecoglou type of player on the park but we know that’s not enough for Ange to sign a player. The Australian also looks at players personalities and how they would fit into his dressing room – that’s where Mark Lawwell would come in.

Celtic have been working behind the scenes for a while now to build on this squad who have already managed to win the league even though they’ve only been together for less than 12 months.
