JOHN PAUL TAYLOR has been in Italy scouting the Stadio Olimpico ahead of Celtic’s visit to the stadium next month.

The Celtic Supporter Liaison Officer flew to Rome to scout the system which will be responsible for Celtic fans in November when entering the stadium and it looks like there will be strict checks before and after you get through the turnstiles.

All tickets will have the owners name attached to it and they must show their passport and have the corresponding name to enter the stadium. If you’re hoping to go up on the day and get one from a fellow fan there’s no chance you’re getting in the stadium.

This will be a mass operation for Celtic to make sure a large travelling support gets into the ground in plenty of time for the game starting and with hopefully no big hassles.

We’ll keep you updated on any other arrangements and security measures which may be pertinent on the day.
