Ryan Christie could be one of the first players out the door this summer according to the Scottish Daily Mail [Print Edition].
The midfielder is reportedly hitting the final six months of his contract and is not looking to renew with the club.
Ryan has had a lot of flak this season and it’s been no secret he has always fancied a shot at the English Premier League.
A source told us late last year the player is on one of the lowest paid contracts in the current playing squad. Something that’s been backed up by Football League FC who out the player on around £8kpw.
MailSport report Ryan is wanted by both Burnley and Norwich. Considering his fee would be tremendously low because of his contract situation — the midfielder stands to at least quadruple his salary south of the border if he makes the move.
Norwich will be the new boys in the league and will be looking to spend.
For Celtic, they will feel they could have gotten much more for Ryan if they had extended his deal to the summer of the 21/22 season.
