Celtic star Tom Rogic is set to get married next month and will be given the international break off by Australia boss Graham Arnold.
However, there’s a catch!
He’s given Tom the two qualifiers against Nepal and Taipei but in return Tom has apparently promised to work through next summer without any time off between club commitments. The midfielder will finish the season for Celtic and head straight for a Socceroos camp according to RecordSport.
Tom, 26, just made his first start of the season against Partick Thistle on Wednesday night and will have a run for his money trying to get back into the team with Ryan Christie playing very well in Rogic’s role.
The Australian has come back looking fitter and leaner than ever before with Neil Lennon happy to give the player the full 90 minutes against Partick Thistle.
It’s great he has the time off in October to go get married and we hope he and his wife to be have a great day and break before the rigorous Celtic schedule in the lead up to Christmas.
