CELTIC travel to Pittodrie on Wednesday night to face Aberdeen. It’ll be a tough match for the hoops, but three points are a must to maintain the advantage at the top of the league.

It will be a tough away day, but Celtic typically get through the fixture, albeit with a few scares. Postecoglou will be hoping for much of the same from Sunday’s performance.

Looking ahead to the match, Anthony Ralston told the Celtic website that the squad are staying focussed on the task ahead without looking too far forward.

“That was the message that we go again. It’s a new game and a new start and we keep going in the right direction and don’t get too ahead of ourselves and keep our feet firmly on the ground.

“It’s another tough challenge but one we’re sure we’ll step up to.”

If Celtic can leave here with all three points, it will significantly boost the squad. On their last visit to the North East, the Bhoys relied on a Jota winner after conceding due to poor defending.

The league is in Celtic’s control, and Postecoglou’s men are not relying on other teams in the division to do us a favour. The title race is heating up with two derbies left to play and tough away days to happen.
