Nir Bitton has hailed the fighting spirit that this current Celtic side has, stating that ‘Its a special dressing room’

In an interview with the Celtic Website, Bitton has given a lot of plaudits to how strong this team is and what it takes to play for a club like Celtic, after last night’s late goal, to draw away at Livingston

“We always believe in ourselves. Every away game is difficult, everyone wants to beat us and be the hero. We need to accept that, face it, match and go one better. We do that every week, and we need to keep going.

“I think we played some good football against Livingston. We didn’t win the game, but we did get the equaliser in stoppage time. During the game you only concentrate on yourself and your own game. We need to stick to our game-plan and we need to win as many games as we can.

“When you play for a club like Celtic, you have to believe all the time. We’re always fighting for trophies and we have a winning mentality. We’re always on the front foot, and we’re always trying to win the game. It’s a special dressing room. Now, we focus on St Mirren at Celtic Park and we go again.”

Since coming back into the side, the Israeli midfielder turned central defender has shown some real quality at the back. His ability to read the game and composure on the ball has really impressed many Celtic fans, proving to be a very reliable option

With Bitton’s comments, it just shows the fight and passion that this side has, with the help of Lennon to get them along. They clearly want to win things and are determined to do whatever it takes to get there which was visible from the ending of last nights match,  getting themselves back on level terms in the end.
