CELTIC are set to start their new European campaign this week against KR Reykjavik at Celtic Park. The bhoys have had over a week to prepare for the Icelandic team and there will be no excuses come kick off time.
They squad have to hit the ground running and must improve on their last outing against Kilmarnock in the SPFL.
Major injury concerns for Celtic going into the game have been highlighted by Neil Lennon.
Mikey Johnston is now out recovering from an operation and will miss another 3-5 weeks of action at least.
Leigh Griffiths has still to make Celtic squad this term and it won’t be against KR.
? NL: on squad – “Griffiths is still out and Mikey Johnston has had surgery so we’re looking at a time frame for him of maybe 3-5 weeks.” #CELKRR

The game could see a debut for Albian Ajeti and it will be a Celtic Euro debut for Vasilis Barkas who will play for the first time at home for the club.
It’s a one off match and winner advances straight to next weeks qualifiers. No room for error and everyone must pull their weight.
