Celtic have always helped those in need across the globe.
Set up as a charitable organisation, the club constantly look to use their riches to provide support to the most needy.
And the latest action taken by the Celtic FC Foundation is no different.
In support of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, the foundation are making a donation of £4,000 in order to help send a Ukrainian team to the Homeless World Cup in Sacramento.
Four other SPFL teams are also contributing money so that Ukraine can send eight players and two management team members to the US.
If you have not heard of the Homeless World Cup, it is an annual football tournament where teams of people who are homeless or have experienced homelessness face off against each other whilst representing their nations.
This year, the tournament will be taking place for the eighteenth time in July and it is great to see Celtic playing their part in providing a helping hand to a team who deserve to part take in it.
