CELTIC are tracking Josh Doig according to reports this afternoon.

It’s claimed the left-back is being scouted by a number of clubs down south; Goal.com claim Manchester City and Leeds have both shown an interest in the Hibs star.

Doig has made 16 appearances for the Easter Road club this term and has been showing major improvement.

Manchester City have been doing their best to hoover up any young talent they can find in the UK and bring them into their academy.

Celtic will need a left-back next season when Diego Laxalt heads back to Milan with neither side looking like signing up to a permanent deal.

The current Scottish champions are likely going to have to rebuild this summer with a number of key players leaving the club once this season is in the books.

Could Doig come in and be part of a new-look squad? We need to make signings for the here and now but building a new platform for the future should be underway.
