It would have been nice on the nervous system of Celtic fans if their team could have applied the same kind of game on Hamilton today as they did on St Johnstone Wednesday night.

Instead, the Bhoys had to win like champions, which is taking all three points while not playing anywhere near their best. The Hoops struggled again today to breakdown a brick wall as they have done in their two previous battles already with Hamilton this season. The home side seem to have a nack of shutting Celtic out this season and don’t let the 1-4 scoreline fool you either.

The champions looked destined for a draw against ten men for most of the afternoon, it was only late on when spaces started to appear that Jullien,  Edouard and Forrest managed to give Neil Lennon some relief on the sidelines.

Celtic will have to improve drastically by Wednesday as they travel to Fir Park to face Motherwell in probably their toughest challenge of 3 in a row away games.
