Celtic youngster Bruno Davidson has signed a new deal with the club until 2025 [@CelticFCB].

The young midfielder has played a prominent role under the stewardship of both Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea in the B team as he has appeared for the club over 25 times this season.

He joined the youth set up at Parkhead in 2020 and has been continuing to develop in the past few seasons.

So far, he has contributed five goals and six assists as his side currently sit three points off top spot with a game in hand over rivals Rangers.

For him and his teammates, the opportunity to participate in the UEFA Youth League was a great learning curve and they will hope to be back playing against some of Europe’s elite young talent next season as Davidson appeared in every game for the Hoops.

Ange Postecoglou stated only a matter of weeks ago that he hopes that some players begin to make the breakthrough from the B team set up in the next 6-12 months and make an impact [Read more here].

At that age of 18-years-old there is still plenty of potential in Davidson and it is interesting to note that he is player under the brand of CAA Base ltd which is operated by Ange Postecoglou’s friend and agent Frank Trimboli.

They will have high hopes for Davidson and will want him to show his stuff when he is given the opportunity to do so.
