Celtic have an extra incentive going into the Scottish Cup Glasgow Derby this weekend after it emerged the cup final could change venue to allow a percentage of supporters back into the stadium.

Hampden is not a allowed supporters in for the showpiece event because UEFA will have already taken control of the stadium to prep for the Euro’s.

But RecordSport revealed because one of the Glasgow teams will not be going past the fifth round – a switch to either Celtic Park or Ibrox is a plausible way of getting some fans inside for the cup final.

If Celtic manage to beat their rivals for the first time this season, and progress to the final, some of our fans could witness it live.

We’re about to ease lockdown restrictions here in Scotland at the end of April with the plan to go to level 2 across the country in mid May, this would make a small crowd feasible.

It won’t mean anything to Celtic fans if the bhoys don’t get the win on Sunday.
