The draw for the UEFA Conference League was made on Monday and while the game is put on the back burner until after the winter break, there are some reasons to be positive about the fixture against Bodo/Glimt.

The Norweigan champions are a tidy outfit and will NOT be a walk in the park.

The club’s domestic season is over and the game is going into hibernation until March.

It means Celtic will likely be up against a side short of match practice when the game rolls around. Not to mention there will be transfer upheaval, given January is when the club will likely buy and sell for the new season.

Celtic should be in a better place by the end of the winter window, the club is making positive moves to make sure Ange has reinforcements coming through the door.

We’ll be another two months into the rebuild and hopefully a lot stronger. While we can’t take anything for granted, Celtic should be in a good place.

The games will be played on the 17th and 24th of February.
