CHARLIE NICHOLAS believes that Celtic will win the Glasgow Derby on Sunday and ultimately win the league.

It’s a bold prediction, but it’s hard to envisage another outcome with the way Celtic are performing. The Hoops had a blip at Hampden, which will add hunger to Sunday’s performance. The team will want to go out and prove a point, making it three league derby victories in a row. [Daily Express]

“The Premiership trophy will be coming home to Celtic Park after this weekend. The mood seems to be that we have let Rangers borrow our trophy for one year but now we’re taking it back.

“Sunday’s match is a must-win for Rangers but I still think the title is over because Celtic’s games in the run-in are all winnable. I know Ange Postecoglou’s side were defeated by their bitter rivals at Hampden but I don’t see them losing this one at home.”

Postecoglou will look to make a few minor changes for Sunday. The midfield wasn’t strong enough against The Rangers at Hampden. Starting O’Riley at the weekend, he may be tempted to keep the Dane in the team. The boss also has to decide between Kyogo and Giakoumakis, both strikers are fit and in good form, but both won’t fit into Ange’s system if they play together.

It’ll be interesting to see what the manager does. He’ll be aware of what a win could do for Celtic. Not only will it wrap up the league, but it also damages the mindset of the Ibrox club before hosting the second leg of their Europa League semi-final.
