Charly Musonda is looking to get his career back on track after completing a move to Levante this week.

The former Celtic loan bhoy who had such a big reputation when coming up in the game has been hampered by injury. At one point, the midfielder even contemplated retirement due to the severity of his injury woes.

The former Chelsea man was signed up to Celtic on an 18-month loan deal under Brendan Rodgers. It wouldn’t work out, Charly would get minimal game time during the first six months and the deal would be cut short that summer.

For those who remember, Charley’s biggest contribution in a Celtic jersey came when he assisted Callum McGregor against Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League.

It’s never good to see a player struggle so much with countless injuries and setbacks, we wish the Belgian all the best at Levante and hope to see him tear it up.

Charly hasn’t played a competitive game in three years, it’s going to take a bit of time to get going. Joining up with the second tier side could be exactly what he needs.
