CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN has sent a message to his teammates and the fans after watching from the bench as his new club ran out 3-1 winners in Bosnia.

With the Frenchman not fully up to speed yet the Celtic manager opted not to play Jullien in the tie until he gets some more training sessions under his belt and a likely run out against Rennes at Celtic Park on Saturday.

The bhoys are in a great position within the tie now and the return leg should be a formality but the big man is taking nothing for granted and has commented it’s only half time in the tie.

By next Wednesday, the defender could be making his competitive Celtic debut.

Celtic fans are desperate to see Jullien in action after he became the club’s most expensive defender in their history when he signed from Toulouse.

It won’t be long before we see him playing regularly for Neil Lennon’s new look side.
