KRISTOFFER AJER was picked as man of the match by CelticTV on Sunday after the player out in a good performance down the right hand side for Celtic.
The Norwegian looked reinvigorated, given licence to get high up the field and do his part in both defence in attack.
His move to right-back has facilitated the return of Shane Duffy to the team who has been part of the last two wins.
The Irish defender grabbed the all important second goal with an outstanding header to make sure of all three points.
Speaking after the game, Kris told CelticTV he was happy with his own performance but for him, Shane was the real man of the match.
The Celtic star said he’d be giving this one to Shane.
“I was happy with my own performance but today I think it was the wrong man-of-the-match. I think today Duffer deserved it. He’s been through a lot and I think the way he’s been in the dressing room and the way he performed today I’m delighted for him.
“So today I’ll give it to him.”
Class act and a move which shows this dressing room care about one another.
Celtic now have a week to prepare for the Scottish Cup final where they face Hearts. The bhoys could make history with a win.
