MARVIN COMPPER looks like he’s playing with purpose and with a point to prove this afternoon in Celtic’s reserve league game against Hearts at Cappielow.

After just 15 minutes the bhoys lead 2-0 with Marvin grabbing a goal and an assist in the 2pm Kick off!

Neil Lennon could be behind the sudden upturn in form with the German less than enthused with his first couple of performances for the Reserves this year.

The interim Celtic boss did say Marvin could get a chance if he impresses and it looks like the defender is going about it the right way!

Celtic tried to offload the defender in the summer and in January to no avail but could he now play some part in the rest of the season.

Presumably, the reserve league gives players a chance to get fit and to also prove themselves; young or old.

Will Neil Lennon pull the trigger after seeing an inspired Marvin Compper?
